Bold, intense, wine with medium complexity and nice structure. Pleasurable now yet capable of improvement with a few years in the cellar.

Drinking at its best with fruit now toned down and some nice secondary notes .

A beautifully layered wine and was very, very attractively priced.

Tobacco and cigar box on a bed of mineral notes. Great balance and length. Initially rich and plush but evolves to show more complexity and balance

Displays tobacco and mineral notes reminiscent of a bordeaux
1994 Chateau Pichon Lallande (Pauillac, Bordeaux, France)
elegant and structured with dark fruit, tobacco and leather notes
1994 Grange (South Australia, Australia)
Deep, intense yet balanced wine with firm and youthful tannins. 3-5 more good years to go
1988 Chateau Palmer (Margaux, Bordeaux, France)
Good depth and structure with nice fruit and balance. Precise flavours. Evolves to display some chocolate notes.
